BEHIND THE SCENES: P-PRP

ABOUT THE PROCEDURE

1. Taking the patients own blood

2. Centrifuging to yield P-PRP with approximately 1.3million platelets/μl

3. Sub-dermal injections of PRP into the scalp

4. Micro needing & LED therapy.

DURATION

Approximately 1 hour with little to no downtime.

EVIDENCE

Our meticulous protocol is established using current evidence-based practice to ensure that we yield  the highest quality of PRP. Clinical trials and data regarding this procedure are available on request.

ELIGIBILITY

Individuals with:

- Female Pattern Baldness

- Androgenic Alopecia

- Traction Alopecia (Typically from the pulling force of tight ponytails or hair extensions)

- Telogen Effluvium

- Post Partum Hair Loss

- Post Chemo/Radio Therapy

- Autoimmune disease

- General thinning with age

All patients are invited for an initial complimentary consultation to determine suitability.

SIDE EFFECTS

Because PRP therapy is autologous, there is no risk of communicable disease or allergic reaction. This is a low-risk and natural procedure.

RESULTS

Results can be noticed within 8 weeks - 6 months.

Unlike common medications used to restore hair, hair does not "stop growing" or "fall out" if you stop PRP treatments. Results are long-term. Most individuals will require a maintenance treatment once a year, depending on the desired density and thickness of hair.

Pricing and duration of Premium PRP Treatment is established within an initial consultation

We are passionate about giving the best possible results, and are open and honest about the products we use, how many treatments you may need, and the cost of the procedure.

By law, we are unable to advertise the name of the kits we use, so we refer to this treatment as "Premium PRP". We use the most premium system available, which supersedes any other PRP yielding protocol.

Please contact us or book in for a consultation for any further questions regarding treatment information.
